When You Were Here

When you were here
you had troubles.
Your life wasn't going very well,
but you could feel the hugs.
You could talk things out.
You could write it down.

And where are you now?

No arms to hold,
no hands to write,
no mouth to speak,
and even no eyes to cry.
Your troubles were bound
before,
but now
they fill up the sky.

And you can't leave
like you left this life.
You have to feel the pain,
forever tormented
in spiritual rain.

And they say
that you're in peace.

I think you're just
in silence.

And you can't make it better
anymore,
not like you could have
before.
