I flow like a river
through your heart,
where all the empty
places used to be.
I wrap you up
inside of me,
and feel you slip
away.
Once you were so real
to me.
There was this
melting
thing

You scorched my heart
sometimes

to lie inside

You never kissed me
long enough
or deep enough

crawling
